Beautiful perspex sculpture by the Dutch artist Siebe Hansma (1949). Hansma works predominantly in the abstract-geometric style, in which he created important sculptures in the public domain in the Netherlands. Work by Hansma was acquired by the Groninger Museum, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Fries Museum and MOMA New York. His work is about balance.
This sculpture is P.1987 in two parts in black and red, 34x14x7. In the series ‘Koppeltekens’ (Groningen, 1988) it goes together with a poem by Albert Schaalma. Sculpture and poem are made in an edition of 50 copies, this is number 41. In very good condition
