Beautiful extendable dining table by the Danish-American designer William Watting for Fristho. It was Watting who helped Fristho to adapt to Scandinavian design in the mid-fifties. Fristho was a Dutch-Frisian factory that had international succes in the sixties and seventies with designers like Kho Liang Ie, Inger Klingenberg, Arnold Merckx and Rudolf Glatzel. But it all started with the switch from traditional to Scandinavian design by Watting. This table is model 126W from circa 1956table, teak, 110×110, in extended position 150×110. In good condition.
