SOLDEasy chair Meander Gamma by Rudolf Wolf for Gaasbeek & Van Tiel 1960s




ONHOLDIn 1962 the Dutch designer Rudolf Wolf was asked by the Gaasbeek en Van Tiel company in Culemborg to develop an new series of furniture. Wolf called his series Meander, with easy chairs, dining chairs, coffee- and dinnertables. In 1964 the chair Meander Gamma was awarded with the International Design Award of the American Institute of Interiors Design. The chair also became famous as ‘de stoel’ in the TV-show by Mies Bouman.
