Beschrijving
Hans de Jong (1932-2011) belongs tot the group of important and innovating Dutch ceramists in the post-war period. He studied in Amsterdam at the institute that later became the Rietveld Akademie. In the sixties and seventies he made several wall sculptures/tableaus in his specific style: separate stamped elements, mostly in ocher, blue and green. This rare small but very fine tableau was made for the Looborch-organisation in Zeist and was presented by the opening of the new building in 1972. In a new renovation-period it was removed. In good condition, 61×19 cm.
